This is the directorial debut of Drew Barrymore and stars Ellen Page, Zoe Bell, Marcia Gay Harden, Eve and Kristen Wiig. The basic plot is nerdy picked on girl joins a brash bunch of roller derby chicks! Looks like it will be a fun faux-indy comedy.

Action films are a dime a dozen these days and most plots and storyline’s have been covered and recovered. However that doesn’t stop Hollywood from recycling ideas and repackaging them as new. However every once in a while a film comes a long that despite the cookie cutter plot rises above and shines brighter than the rest… Taken is that film.
