The House of the Devil

To say I’m excited about this trailer, poster, hell the sheer existence of this movie would be an understatement. Those of you who were fans of our old site Gearcritech (RIP) know that I’m a total mark for old school horror movies from the 70’s and 80’s. They have a spirit and soul that 90% of horror movies lack nowadays.

There has been a small resurgence of old school horror with Grindhouse and Some of Rob Zombie’s flicks. Well now we get to add The House of the Devil to that list. The film takes place in the late 80’s when a young girl is offered $400 to spend the night in a creepy house… That’s all you need to know! With flicks like this and Eli Roth being green lit to actually make a full length feature film based on his Grindhouse trailer Thanksgiving old school horror is back!
