First Look: PS3 Slim

Well it is official, way back when E3 was going on there were 2 rumors floating around in the Sony camp: 1) The PSP Redesign. 2) A PS3 Price Cut and new Model.  Well 1 of those rumors came true.  And now the other has come to pass.  Sony has announced the PS3 Slim.  A new smaller and thinner PlayStation 3 System.  Boasting a 120G hard drive, the PS3 Slim also is able to output 1080p Video via HDMI, it also has internal Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.   Some of the new features include “Bravia Sync” where if you have a Sony Bravia TV, and hook the PS3 Slim up using the HDMI output you can control the XMB (cross media bar) using your TV remote.  Also you will no longer be able to install another OS onto the system .  The PS3 Slim is set to release on September 1, 2009.
