Ridley Scott to Direct Alien Prequel

The Alien series is one of my favorite film franchises of all time, boasting such directorial talent as David Fincher (even though he wishes to have Alien 3 stricken from all memory), James Cameron, and Ridley Scott.  Well now Ridley is going back into the director’s chair to helm a prequel to his original film.  Not much else is known except that Jon Spaihts (Passengers, Shadow 19) has been hired to write the script, but rest assured that we will keep you informed on anything that may arise with this project.
